Legs, Legs, Legs
Leg workout today was a bit rough, due to two days in a row this weekend jogging outside when I have not really been keeping up with my cardio. My calves were screaming, partially due to the Vibram Five Fingers I haven't been running in enough lately. Still, I did three sets of squats at 175 lbs, which is better than last time. My next goal is to break that 200 lb mark, which at this rate might happen sometime in February. I've got to remember to make the effort to go past parallel; I think I did OK tonight, but I could easily get into bad habits once the weight starts increasing again. I think I'm going to spend some more time at the downtown St. Louis YMCA instead of the Marquette. The parking is free and very close. And not to sound vain (right), but there are many more mirrors and the lighting shows off muscle definition a bit more. I like looking at it and it motivates me...which reminds me...
Introductory Post
I'm using this blog to track my weight-lifting and exercise progress. I've already got a system for tracking statistics, which I may attempt to incorporate here at some point, but this will mostly be for unmeasurable thoughts about my workouts and my goals.
